Creating references to sources | [Leonov, 2006, p. 75] [Leonov, V.L., 2006, p. 89] — if there are multiple authors with the same surname [Leonov, 2006b] — if one author has multiple works in the same publication year [Leonov, Dmitrieva, 2006, p. 75–89] — if a work has two authors [Leonov et al., 2006, p. 75–89], [Williamson et al., 2006, p. 75–89] — if a work has more than two authors references to electronic sources are made in the same way as print sources (the words “electronic resource” are NOT added) [Quality Management System, 2006] — if a work does not have an author indicated [Quality Management…, 2006] — if a name is long, a shortened version should be used that still allows the source to be found in the bibliographic list [Leonov, Dmitrieva, 2006, p. 75–89; Petrov, 1998, p. 10] — if reference to several sources is required [Ibid.] – used for consecutive references to the same work [Federal Law No. 239] — used in reference to a legal act |
Creating list of references |
- name: References
- only those sources referenced in the text are included; no more than 10 sources are recommended
- format: font size — 12, spacing — 1.5, alignment — edgewise, indentation — automatic, 1.25/1.27 cm, alphabetic (first in Russian, then in foreign languages); numeration not required
- author name is italicized
- if a reference is made to a work from journal or collection, page numbers are REQUIRED
- indication of number in foreign source: No. 1
- works with three or more authors use the first author with the words et al. The author names are not written out in full in the description either.
- When referencing an electronic resource, do not simply include the address; every page has a name; wrote URL before the address; indicate the date visited in parentheses; if the reference ends directly with an address, a period at the end is not used.
- Examples of listing sources in the References regardless of type of work are found below:
